Services are available in-person throughout the greater Washington, DC area, as well as virtually for added flexibility. Complimentary consultations are offered to help guide families in getting started, and services can be provided in homes, schools, childcare centers, or community settings to best support each child’s daily environment.

We believe high-quality speech therapy should be accessible to every family.The Communication Tree offers both in-network and out-of-network services, depending on your plan.When services are out-of-network, we provide detailed superbills and hands-on support to help you navigate the reimbursement process.Flexible pricing options and complimentary consultations are also available to ensure you feel confident and supported from the very beginning.If cost is a barrier, please reach out to discuss options.

All new clients begin with a brief, paid 15-minute consultation.This allows us to determine the best next steps and ensure services are aligned with your needs.Fee: $50 (Waived for new clients in 2026)

Founder, The Communication Tree
Jennifer Branchini is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with extensive experience supporting children and families across a wide range of communication needs. As the founder of The Communication Tree, she brings a relationship-centered, holistic approach to therapy—one that is rooted in connection, trust, and meaningful progress.
Jennifer is the former owner of District Speech and Language Therapy, where she spent over a decade working closely with families throughout the Washington, DC area. During that time, she built a reputation for providing thoughtful, individualized care, particularly for children with complex communication profiles. Her clinical experience spans early intervention, speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, autism spectrum differences, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), feeding and myofunctional therapy, stuttering, and voice.She has worked across a variety of settings—including homes, schools, clinics, and multidisciplinary teams—and values collaboration with caregivers, educators, and medical professionals to ensure each child is supported in a comprehensive and meaningful way. Jennifer is also deeply familiar with navigating early intervention services, IEPs, and family advocacy, helping caregivers feel informed, confident, and empowered throughout the process.Known for her ability to connect with both children and families, Jennifer prioritizes building strong therapeutic relationships as the foundation for growth. Her approach blends evidence-based practice with real-world application, ensuring that progress carries over into everyday life.Through The Communication Tree, Jennifer continues her mission of helping individuals find their voice, strengthen their communication, and feel more connected to the world around them.
